Description :	Cette armature de lit a été fabriquée avec du bois et du placage d’acajou. Il est complété par des ornements de bronze ciselés et dorés. Des têtes de grecques surmontent les montants postérieurs du lit.

Historique :	Les bronzes sont pleins et témoignent du peu d'économie de la matière, ils ont été dorés à l'électrolyse, procédé inventé en 1800. Des éléments de restauration, comme le remplacement de picots par des vis, ont été apportés probablement à la fin du XIX° siècle. Ce lit s'inscrit dans le style de Percier qui caractérise particulièrement la période Restauration (1815-1830).
