Historique :	L'église de Combeaufontaine conserve une petite toile anonyme de la Crucifixion dont le traitement iconographique a retenu l'attention de la Commission départementale des objets mobiliers. On ignore malheureusement sa provenance.

Matériaux :	toile (support) : peinture à l'huile
Précision_sur la representation :	La scène représente le Christ expirant, le ciel s'obscurcit brutalement tandis que le rocher du Golgotha se fracture. Au pied de la croix, on paerçoit, dans une lueur dramatique, la Vierge effondrée de douleur dans les bras de saint Jean, au croisement des regards du centurion commandant le détachement romain au Calvaire et du soldat Longin portant encore la lance avec laquelle il a percé le flanc du Christ.
