Description :	Très élégant calice dont la coupe sans fausse coupe est peut-être postérieure. Frise du pied à décor de feuilles d'eau et de godrons alternés. La base très élégante comporte un décor de fleurs au naturel et de grappes de raisins dans des encadrements en ondulations qui délimitent trois cartouches entourés de roseaux et de rocaille. Même décor sur le noeud, entre deux collerettes moulurées que sur la base.

Poinçon de maître : lettres SC et fleur de lys surmontant les armes de Besançon, poinçon de Simon Charmet, Besançon, 1778-1779 (sous le pied). Poinçon : lettre B surmontée d'une fleur de lys utilisée à Besançon en 1779 (sous le pied). Inscription, date : SAUNOT 1779 (sur le rebord). Armoiries : d'argent, un bois de cerf à 6 cors surmontant une fleurette (cartouche central).
