Description :	Ce sarcophage en granit rougeâtre est en dos d'âne et décoré sur toutes faces de multiples moulures en très fort relief pour tout ornement.

Historique :	C'est dans ce sarcophage qu'ont été déposés et conservés jusqu'en 1793 les restes de s. Pierre archevêque de Tarentaise, mort à Bellevaux en 1174. On insère ce tombeau au 18e siècle sous un autel en marbre gris, angle rocaille, dont la base était ajourée au moyen d'une grille en fer forgé dorée qui existe encore et on la transporta, à la suppression de l'abbaye de Bellevaux, dans le bras gauche du transept de l'église voisine de Cirey où il est encore.
